My name is Nicole Thomas. I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner board certified in child/adolescent psychiatry as well as adult psychiatry. I am excited to offer psychiatric care in Le Mars, IA.
Areas of Specialty
I offer psychiatric evaluations and medication management for the child, adolescent, and adult populations. My areas of specialty include: ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, behavioral disorders, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, depression, bipolar spectrum and related disorders, schizophrenia and psychotic spectrum related disorders, and substance abuse.
My Mission
My mission is to help people heal through Nurturing Compassionate psychiatric Care (NCC). When it comes to mental health everyone’s journey is different and for that reason alone it can feel isolating. Therefore, the focus of my practice is to create an environment built upon a foundation of comfort, trust, and advocacy. I want my patients to feel and know that there will always be time for them and that they are free to share anything on their mind, knowing that they are in a safe and understanding place. I also want to provide services based upon needs and not on time.
